Tummy Tuck

The recovery period for an abdominoplasty is about 3 to 6 weeks. You will be able to return to work after 3 weeks, but for more active and physically demanding occupations, you will need to extend your downtime. You will be asked to wear a supportive abdominal garment (abdominal binder) for about 6 weeks after your tummy tuck. You are advised to avoid strenuous activity for at least six weeks after the operation. After 7 days, you have to visit our clinic to remove stitches and change dressing. Dr Vourvachis will give you specific instructions about the recovery process including restrictions on various activities.
